Since 2002, Anderson Music Studio has been dedicated to teaching students an appreciation for music through the use of proper technique and exercises designed to increase skill and proficiency.
Leah Anderson is a classically trained voice and piano instructor, with a Bachelor of Music from Montreat College. She has a passion for music and students, teaching in a laid-back syle based on encouragement and affirmation.
Her goals include encouraging the use of the arts in worship and education, where students perform out of a love for music, and training students to be technically proficient in the use of their instrument, including caring for the voice at any age. She has a personal interest in vocal pedagogy and specializes in training the use of the voice correctly in any style of vocal performance.

The best musical performances are delivered by students of the arts that love music and understand it intimately. Anderson Music Studio specializes in cultivating an intuitive performance style, where students are encouraged to learn proper techniques that will enable them to improve their art, no matter at what level they begin. Students gain not only knowledge of the techniques specific to their art form, but an understanding of the reasons why those techniques are successful. Through the use of private, one-on-one instruction and a background in the methods that lead to improvement, Leah Anderson guides students toward achieving their musical goals.

Lessons are offered at the studio in Waxhaw, NC and are open to students over the age of 10. Instruction for adult students is enthusiastically encouraged! Vocal lessons are available for students of all levels, while piano lessons are offered for beginning to intermediate-level students.
Each student is encouraged to perform publicly at least once per year in a small gathering, although recitals are not required.
Anderson Music Studio is not currently accepting new students.
